PROJECT: NINE ELEVEN

In the wake of September 11, 2001, Lauren was commissioned to document and record the human experience of this event. Her works were ultimately placed in permanent collections at  institutions that include: The Smithsonian Institution, The NY Historical Society, NY State Museum, The National 9/11 Memorial Museum and The Museum of Jewish Heritage. Lauren was also commissioned to create, produce and direct a televised PSA in order to assist in funding the services.
